Catching up

My head feels as if somebody is trying out his new hammer on me, so that's not pleasant at all. Futhermore I have an essay due on the 'Beeldenstorm' for which I am totally uninspired, even though I can reward myself for doing it by watching the Sex and the City film and playing a game on the Nintendo DS we bought today (hmm, yeah kind of late jumping on the bandwagon, but ah well).

And I'm not going to mention the Dutch soccer team kicking France's ass the other night, but I realize I did mention it, so ah well. They kind of rocked. That's rich, coming from me because I never watch soccer, I prefer ice-skating.
Ah well, this has been random enough.. must head back to writing my essay :/

RIP Tadpoles

Unfortunately only one of the tadpoles is still alive since I forgot to change the water in the bowl (on the other hand: who changes the water in the ditches?). Poor tadpoles.


On a total nerdy note: writing your essays in MS OneNote is really handy and allows you to organise your notes in a, well.. organized way? Handy, handy, handy. Although.. the word count function is missing which I need really badly. 900 more words to go.. :(

Tadpoles

Never heard of the word, but I looked it up.. a friend of my mother dropped by some while ago and she brought this vase with frog-spawn and a stone (sounds kind of random, doesn't it?). I looked at the vase today (which we need to clean, by the way) and these mini-frogs have legs now.. look..

Yeah, we really have to clean the water.. yugh look at that

Where do you go when you need to?

Find inspiration, that is! I obviously know where to go when I need to go.. But what if you need to be inspired, and you're not? Do you go for a walk, do you watch a film or just browse the net? I'm in desperate need of inspiration for a story I want to write, so if you know something, let me know :).
